Welcome to the Troop 61 - Wooster, Ohio web site! Our goal is to provide you with useful information about our troop to improve communication and promote internal and community support for what we do for boys, their families and for our community.

Troop 61 - Wooster, Ohio has been serving the Wooster area since 1913.

Monday, January 26, NO MEETING

Tuesday, January 27, 2015, 5:30 p.m. Pack 61 Pinewood Derby @ Church House

  • Class A uniform
  • The Patrol Leaders Council (and any other scout volunteers) of Troop 61 should be in attendance to help set up and run this event.

Monday, February 2, 7 p.m. Regular Meeting @ Church House

  • Class A uniform
  • Personal Management merit badge lead by Mr. Jason Burkholder

Saturday, February 7, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Baden Powell Institute @ North Canton

  • Class A Uniform
  • Great training day at Kent State Stark Conference Center
  • $22 if registered by 1/30/15

Sunday, February 8, 10:00 a.m. Scout Sunday @ Church House

  • Class A Uniform
  • Join our sponsor church in worship as we celebrate Scout Sunday and thank them for their generous support
  • Scouts will be helping to lead portions of the service

Monday, February 9, 7 p.m. Regular Meeting @ Church House

  • Class A uniform
  • Continue with Personal Management merit badge
  • First payment due for summer camp
Seven Ranges summer camp July 5-11, 2015 $255/Scout and $120/Adult (with discounts)
Payments due as follows:   Scouts Adults
First Payment Due: Feb. 9, 2015 $50 $40
Second Payment Due: March 9, 2015 $50 $20
Final Payment Due: April 6, 2015 $155 $60

Saturday-Sunday, February 14-15 Henry Ford Museum Trip

  • Meet at 7 a.m. to depart to Henry Ford Museum
  • Don't forget your swimsuit for the hotel/waterpark

Killbuck District Roundtable held the 2nd Thursday of each month at Church of the Saviour (corner of U.S. Rte. 30 and Fry Rd.)

Killbuck District Recognition Dinner, Saturday, February 21, @ First Presbyterian Church, Wooster (see attached registration form and let Mr. Holmes know if you are attending)
